my baby girl is turning 1 in just 2 short months! what the whhhaat???!! this doesn't even make sense to me. i have been keeping myself busy (especially when pete is gone) with planning, crafting, and searching online for ideas. it is weird to actually be super sad and excited at the same time.
so in searching for some inspiration i wanted to share some great sites. def check these out if your planning a party:

those are just a few of the many great ones out there. i love looking at all the "real" parties people send in. there are so many creative people in the world! i just love it.
so the "theme" for bennet's party is 'pinwheels and polka dots' i love all the cute pinwheels recently seen in lots of parties and i just thought that would go well with polka dots.
this lady's photography blog has been my biggest inspiration. from the colors to all the little details...i can't take it! so adorable.
this is just part one. i will (sometime soon) share some of my crafts i am working on and the many ideas i am wanting to attempt. hopefully it will all come together. the next 2 months can go by sllloooww. for many reasons ;)

I saw a newborn today and it made me sad. :( I can hardly remember Joel being that small. Your theme is great! I opened all those blogs in new browsers to take a peek. I've been thinking of a circus theme for Joel's birthday and then carrying into Elijah's room. Is that wrong? To give Elijah the crafts I do for Joel? I think that's just not being the first born... ha. I'm excited to see your crafts! How big are you making it? Right now we're just planning on our two sets of immediate family + us which is 12 people, but sometimes I think it would be fun to expand especially since I'm going to be doing so much for it.
I'm glad to hear she liked swimming and it wiped her out! I know that sounds awful, but Joel sleeps the best at night after a day like that and I appreciate so much! :) Did you get any good pics of her in her swim garb doing her water thing?
