the finished project!
finally i finished a craft project! i am horrible at starting something, getting bored with it, and then giving up. even though i really wanted to stop half way with this thing {cutting out tons of little felt circles isn't exactly enthralling :)} i am so glad i didn't give up. to think this lamp was on it's way to goodwill last week. it will now have a place in our new little home {i am thinking spare bedroom night stand}

and ps--we were at the york's house the other night, and on our way home, we drove down radnor to see if we could pick out your oh-so-soon-to-be-home. no luck. it was midnight. it was dark. but we're still really excited for you. :)
