springtime ♥ skirts

i am in love with this time of year. it always feels like spring gets the short end though. winter tries to hang on as long as it can and summer can't wait to show it's 90 degrees face.
i am bringing out the skirts in honor of spring! just in the blog world though, if i bought all of these we would be destitute. a girl can dream though.

flea market find

we finally found a dresser we both loved! oh the flea market has such lovely things! we found this for only $50 along with the mirror ($10)! i spray painted the handles and the mirror trim white but other then that it was perfect.

warm and cozy

that is what i want our home to feel like. i think my new finds help...



the shelf was only $12, the owl $10, bird tin $4. i think they fit in nicely next to one of our favorite wedding pictures.

fixing up the ol' blog today. it is gonna look purty! just wait. then going antiquing later with the hubs. maybe we will find a dresser?!!!

who would have thought that tom petty and mr. bingley would be friends,

our kittens.

they love each other a lot. i named mr. bingley (we just call him bingley) he is black and white. pete named petty (his full name is thomas earl petty) they keep me company when pete is on the road.

just another thing i want to buy off of etsy...

i was so thrilled with my wedding earrings i bought from lillyella's shop on etsy and now i want this bracelet. so pretty and danty.
